HISTORY FROM HOME
Free historical online talks each week
Let's face it - these are tough times. It looks like that might be true for quite some time. Day after day recently we have heard of major changes which have made so many ordinary day-to-day activities impossible, at least in the short term. Whilst there are some things we can do nothing about, probably if we think about it, we can each do something to make things a little less difficult. I hope that this is one of those things.
Recently I have spoken to a number of my colleagues in the military history community who, like me, have lost a huge amount of work in cancelled talks, tours and events, but who also hold a passion for military history and for sharing it.
We have decided to offer a historical talk each Wednesday which is open to all, entirely free and which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your home.
These 'Warfare Webinars' will cover a wide range of military history topics, presented by some of the UK's leading military historians from Trafalgar to Tobruk, each Wednesday beginning 25th March.
So wherever you are in the world, whatever your situation, feel free to join us online and here a little bit about a subject which means to much to us all.
Check out the speaker line-up below.
